About Emily

A life-long passion for elite sport & broadcasting: here's how it all started:
Emily played hockey to England U21 level, witnessing what it takes to be at the top of your game, and now tells those very stories.

She got the broadcasting bug from her time as Assistant Station Manager and hosting Desert Island discs at Purple Radio during her degree at Durham University (where she graduated with a first class degree in History and Spanish).

In 2018, through her hockey experience, she got her first presenting gig at the Hockey World Cup in London hosting the fan village stage. While keen to build business experience, Emily took a global management grad scheme at the Global brewer, Ab InBev, first working in the Canary Islands for a year to ensure fluency in business Spanish, she moved back to London in 2021 and worked across a range of innovation, marketing and commercial finance roles. During this period, Emily established herself as a core member of the England Hockey and FIH Pro League presenting teams, alongside her corporate work, leading with Stadium Announcing and pitch-side presenting.

In 2022 the call up to Stadium Announce at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games came, which ignited a brighter spark and forged stronger relationships in the broadcasting and media industries. It led to opportunities creating a docu-series in hockey, producing a podcast and presenting a padel series for the World Padel Qualifiers.

Emily continued to thrive in the role for England Hockey and the International FIH Pro League London, taking on greater responsibility every year in roles as an in-stadium host, announcer, and interviewer. Meanwhile, as padel grew in the UK, Emily grew with it. She dug into her niche and became the go-to profile for presenting at tournaments around the UK, hosting and MC'ing, reporting, and creating event content.
